Much to update when not doing it too often. Highlights since last time:
Piper´s puppies have left and doing great! Same Piper
have had a successful summer and fall, Specialty 3rd prize i master hunting
class, following up with BIS-hunting class and
3rd best male, finishing 6th in competition for Tollermaster title. A week
ago he became dog show champion without a
correct hunting merit, but managed yesterday to get a 1st prize in tolling
hunting test open class and is now titled SUCH!
Migo has a good year too, 2nd prize in
masterclass and finishing 5th in competition for Tollermaster title.
Yesterday
she had her debute in open class tolling test, getting a 2nd prize. Great
work!
Over all Specialty was a success, great Digby dogs in work and show. No one
forgotten, but results topped by BIS-hunting class
male and BIS-youth dog male.
Alfred winner of obedience class 2. Working
test results between 60 and 72 p out of 100 and
2nd and 3rd prize in master class hunting. Thanks to all participants!
On fall show last weekend, out of 7 Digby Dogs, 6 were placed among the five.
Best puppy female, 4th place by Sissi. Best
male: 2nd place, cert and champion by Piper, 3rd place
Chayton. Best female: 1st place, cert and BOB:
Sirkka, 2nd place
Tekla and 4th place: Sanja.

Congratulations Migo 1st prize beginners class tolling test!
Piper has mated Alice -
expected pups in the beginning of
July hopefully...Same Piper managed this weekend to steal and eat a bamboo
barbequestick - acute entry to hospital
and was operated on. Today he returned home, sad and hurt, but all organs
intact and alive....Kisses to Piper and Hugs

children are doing great, Tekla is a real mum - who
would have guessed... - and guard the puppies with her life...

Thanks for all the kind words from you out there! After a hard, sad weekend
- we have to look up again for puppies to come...
Today we went to x-ray and 3 maayyybe 4 pups are inside. Typical Tekla
- few puppies, less job and back to action faster.

Lotus died yesterday evening....After being tired on
and off for 2 weeks, he fainted and got to the animalhospital of Helsingborg
on Saturday, and got the diagnose kidney failure. After x-ray, ultrasound,
blood samples of vital organs and biopsies, no other
tests showed of defects, only inflammation on the filterstations of the
kidneys. Testing medication, he got home on Tuesday,
played around with the ball on Thursday evening and shortly after died in
Linda´s arms.
Specialist have been consulted and looking at parameters of all tests
immunological and of organ diseases liver, kidney, heart
and intestines, hereditary diseases is at this moment ruled out.
So tragic, sudden and unexpected - we are so sad for Linda, losing her soul
mate...Lotus, take Rocco, Faye and friends for a
great spin up there!

Happier news this time. Tekla has been to
ultrasound today, and for sure there is at least 3 pups. From experience
that
has meant about 5 to 8 pups before so....

The day has come, that no one wants to, but you can´t avoid it. With a body
deteriorating too fast in a dog with eternal puppy
mind, we had to make the hard decision to let go of Rocco. He will always a
big place in our hearts...see a bit of his
personality here...

After some stressful tours to the animal hospital, tests told us to be calm
waiting over Christmas going to Finland. We
meet Jami on 26th! MERRY X-MAS!!

Congratulations to litter no 1, 4 years on Dec 15Th! As a birthdaypresent,
Chayton became Best Male, BOS and titled
Nordic Winner ´07 and Crufts-qualified! Migo was placed 2nd i junior class,
close to Junior title. Betty was placed
6th in Championclass, but has a direct invitation from Crufts, due to her
2nd place there this year.
Betty is in heat now, if blood sample shows what we think, we hope for
mating in Finland between Christmas and New
Year!
Chayton leaves our breeding agreement now is Patrik´s OWN dog from now on!
Thanks for your great cooperation as a
breeding host. Mother Wilma lives with Patrik an family for a long time now.

have been to WT today. Lotus topped the score with 72 p, Nelly 66 p, Betty
59 p and Piper 55 p. Some waterfailure,
Betty falling down a steep hill(but she was ok) and some marking problems
here and there. But beautiful weather and nice
people!

class in Germany.

championship, with 80 points out of 84 possible ones. Great!!!

an certificate on a show in Belgium today.

A collected update in English: Chayton is now daddy to 3 litters, 1st one -
our own - have left for their new homes.
2nd litter is now 6 weeks old and mother of them is Ducktollers Anastasia.
3rd litter was born on June 28 on kennel
Fireheart, more about them on Funas
homepage. Best of luck to all the puppies and new owners.
Puppy training
with last litter has taken place.
Othervise a busy spring for many of us. Betty and Chayton went to Crufts and
was placed 2nd and 7th among the
females and males. From Bettylitters - Mocca took youth cert, and recently
cac for grown ups and has been approved
on the basic retrieving test and Jugendprüfung für retriever, Piper 2nd
prize in tolling test and Lotus became Swedish
Game tracking champion and has recently won district championship, going to
the big championship in August!

A Happy New Year to all our friends! We have done some changes, mainly
put a resumé of year 2003 - 2006 in text and
linked to pictures. Unfortunately I crashed once making the changes so the
English pages are gone, but I have linked to the
same pictures, but with text in Swedish...We finished the year greatly with
Piper getting approved on the basic retrieving test.
We hope for the best with upcoming litter no 3, since we have had successful
matings between Chayton and Nelly!

and title Swedish Winner ´06
SV´06 and both are qualified for Crufts! Tekla made her debute among the
grown ups in junior class, got qualityprize 1 and was
