Tekla is a girl with really jittery, fast legs, and until
recently so was her brain. Her earlier nick-names "bimbo-brain" and "taliban-Tekla"
was a result of a lot of things happening inside her body and not so
much in her head :-). However there was a lot of energy that just had to
mature to give a great working dog, and now that time in our lives have
come.
Tekla is very alert and eager to work and has a great skill in her area
retrieving. She is spontaneous on every game, very easy to handle
and a quick-learner. She is of the soft type and don´t need any harsh
corrections to make things right.
Tekla comes from a litter of 8 pups, where we have followed most of them
closely. 7 out of 8 are x-rayed hips and elbows, all without
remarks. Everyone in the litter has a merit from conformation and/or
work. 7 out of 8 have merits within retrieving and/or blood tracking, 2
in the litter have done very well in obedience, tracking and/or agility,
so it has been a true joy to recieve good reports all the time from
tekla´s littermates.
Tekla has 2 certificates, 1 x BOB, 1 x BOS, approved on basic
retrieving test with cold game, approved tolling test of Denmark and 2 x
2nd prize on off. tolling hunting test. She has done the mental test
with approved shot reaction. More information and pictures on Swedish

The thought of a
future litter with Tekla was to find a male who can complete her in body
mass and give more strength to mentality, and preferably still a lot of
energy. It is a main goal in our breeding programme to work for strong
mentality, and to complete Tekla´s soft personality, one shouldn´t use
softer/weaker males to risk a reserveness going on fear since it is a
problem here and there within the breed.
On our journey
to Finland last fall, when Betty´s fiancé no 2 was found, I had the
pleasure to meet Luca - a male that then didn´t fit Betty´s heavy type,
but in my mind, he followed me home, and now the planning is going
further!
Luca is a powerful, masculine male with a lot of carisma.We
got to see him with males and a puppy and he stood out as safe, stable
male with a lot of playfulness.
Luca had merits from conformation, excellent and 2nd best male,
obedience diploma class 1 and class 2, approved socialization test, BH, demanded
to be able to compete in human search and tracking and has managed a 0
round in agility class 1. He recently did the caracter test and
results are shown below:

Her husband as a hunter brings Luca to hunt for ducks, doves,
grouse and hare. Luca is truly versatile, and works in every field with
energy and will power.
Luca comes from a litter of 5 of which all are x-rayed ok. He
recently had 2 litters of healthy pups at kennel
kennel Reponi
in Finland, and at kennel
Duck Tail´s this summer. Luca´s
two sisters have recently had two litters that so far developped good.
Both Tekla and
Luca are tested prcd-PRA normal/clear, meaning pups are non-carriers to
get PRA or pass on any genes to future off springs.
Tekla has been mated and expected delivery
around 2nd week of February.
You as a person interested should see the toller as a working family
dog. People just interested in cute red dogs in the lap will not have
benefit of a puppy from our kennel since we are true believers that a
toller MUST work to have a happy life.
